Just a quick update for now. The person to whom I loaned the $10 still has not returned the $10 in full, much less the $30 he promised as payment for letting him use the $10. It has now been a 7-day week passed that I still don’t have even the original $10 returned to me when the agreement was that he would give me $30 in return at the end of the day last Friday.
I have also been told by several other people at the warming station that he’s been going out and buying things to share with other people to earn their favor while I’m still unpaid. So, I’ve started telling those people that if there is a favor to be returned for his generosity, it should come to me before him. I think that is the way that Jesus would see it. Does anyone else want to say otherwise?
Hopefully, I’ll be able to come up with the $30 before the 26th because if I don’t, this site goes down and my God told me if that happens, to leave Caldwell County permanently and brush the dust from my feet as I go… I’ll just leave all the “good Christians” of the area to decide if they want to take the risk that entails. If this worries you, do something about it, because if you aren’t willing to become part of the solution, you are just another part of the problem.
